Toyota Company opens Branch in Iraqi Kurdistan Monday, May 17th 2010 8:28 AM Erbil, May 17 (AKnews) - The representative of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Representative of Toyota Auto Company and a number of senior officials attended the company’s branch opening ceremony in Kurdistan Region, the Ceyhan Company’s Chief reported on Monday. “We have opened the Toyota Company’s branch after continuous efforts to convince the Company’s representatives in Kurdistan Region,” Sabah Bajger said. “We are so glad to open our company’s branch in Kurdistan Region and we will continue to offer people our new auto products in Iraq,” The Company’s Representative, Takashi Hatori said. “The Kurdistan stable security situation and the investment law have deeply attracted the foreign companies to make business in the Region,” Erbil Governor, Nowzad Hadi said. “We have taken several positive steps to develop and blossom the Kurdistan Region in every aspects of life, if we compared the situation with the previous years,” the KRG’s Prime Minister, Dr. Barham Saleh said. “We will work together to enhance the trade and economy aspects for recognizing Erbil as the typical capital in the world, Saleh concluded.
