Companies deposited $16 billion Dinars in Kurdistan in 2010 Tuesday, March 15th 2011 7:41 PM Baghdad, March 15 (AKnews) - The Registering Companies department at the Iraqi Ministry of Trade said on Tuesday that the profits of the registered companies for 2010 reached $ 16 billion Dinars, which pays the department to find new alternatives. The Director General of the Department, Khansa Iskander told AKnews that "the number of companies that have been registered the last year reached 2554 local companies. "The General Company for Registering companies agreed to increase the capital of 1900 local companies within the legal norms in force during the last year." The Iraqi Ministry of Trade announced last February that there are more than 50 thousand general trading companies registered in the Registrar Companies department. The registrar companies department provided about 53 billion Iraqi Dinars to the state treasury during 2007, 2008 and 2009. The General Company of Registering Companies Department is one of the most important companies of the Ministry of Commerce as it takes the task of organizing the work of local and foreign businesses in the country.
